I spent the first seven years with Wycliffe UK. Initially as a volunteer and then, as Tany and I started a family, as a paid member of staff.
In my role, heading up the communications team, I was responsible for raising our profile in the UK. Trying to get some stories out about the need for Bible translation, keeping our website going, developing publicity material. We updated the logo, improved the quality of the materials we were producing and updated the magazine.
We even made a mobile version of the Discovery Centre. The exhibition that had first introduced me to Wycliffe and the need for Bible translation, we produced a version that could be packed in a large car and be taken to churches and events.
